When Israel rejected the Lord by asking for a human king like the other nations, He granted their request. Some of the kings were good. Most were bad leaving them longing for the coming “one born to be king of the Jews”. We’ll learn from Israel’s kings about faith, devotion, humility, obedience, & finishing well. We’re looking forward to the return of the King of Kings.
